We are happy to finally start writing about what we build, how we build it, and the engineering problems we run into along the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our first big goal for this blog is also a very practical one: <strong>finish and publish Nagster<\/strong>, our custom mobile reminder app built with <strong>.NET MAUI<\/strong>. Along the way, we will share the architecture, technical decisions, mistakes, fixes, and small details that usually disappear somewhere between a Git commit and a production release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This will not be a blog where every project somehow works perfectly on the first try. We work across <strong>mobile apps, web applications, desktop software, backend architecture, and AI pipelines<\/strong>, with a strong focus on the engineering underneath the product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That means this blog will naturally follow the things we are working on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some posts will be about architecture and implementation details. Others will be about infrastructure, deployment, debugging, performance, or the decisions that seem tiny at first but become surprisingly important later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We will also talk about tools we use regularly, including <strong>C#, .NET, ASP.NET, Entity Framework, .NET MAUI, SQL Server, Docker, Linux, Proxmox, and Git<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When something goes wrong, we want to document that too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Our first product: Nagster<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nagster is a <strong>custom mobile reminder app<\/strong> that we are building with .NET MAUI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The idea is straightforward: create a reminder app that feels useful in everyday life without turning the interface into a complicated scheduling system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The interesting part is everything around that simple idea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are building a custom card-based UI, handling reminders and application state, and thinking carefully about what happens when the device is offline, the application is closed, or a background operation cannot complete immediately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Those details are where a small application starts becoming a real software engineering project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"593\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.livibits.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/image-1024x593.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-31\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.livibits.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/image-1024x593.png 1024w, https:\/\/blog.livibits.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/image-767x444.png 767w, https:\/\/blog.livibits.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/image-300x174.png 300w, https:\/\/blog.livibits.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/image.png 1080w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Welcome to the LiviBits dev blog.
